Mrs. Oinonen

Good afternoon,
It is with great sadness that I share the news that our beloved former teacher Kacey Oinonen passed away yesterday morning after her courageous battle with Stage 4 Metastatic Breast Cancer. She fought the bravest battle since her diagnosis in 2019 and we are all forever grateful to have been a part of her life. To know Mrs. O is to love her. Her smile, laugh, and huge heart were like no other. She touched this community, and everyone loved her. We promised to be by her side through her battle with breast cancer and one thing is for sure, she knew how much we all loved her. I was so glad to have been able to spend time with her on Friday letting her know how much we all cared for her. I shared the news of her passing with our school family yesterday. I know that students who knew her will have heard the news of her passing. I thank you for keeping Mrs. O's family and our Pearl Hall school family in your prayers. She wil be greatly missed by all of us.
